inda Oyama Bryan is a commercial and fine art photographer specializing in landscape and architectural photography in the Chicagoland area. Her interest in nature and photography began over 25 years ago when she and her husband traveled throughout the American West, Canada, Mexico and Guatemala. She studied both the art and craft of photography at Columbia College in Chicago, where she earned a second Bachelor of Arts degree.

After 20 years and two rewarding careers in education and business, Linda has devoted her efforts professionally to photography since 1994. She has photographed extensively for the Chicago Botanic Garden and for numerous professionals and periodicals in the home and garden industry. Her images create subtleties of light, both natural and artificial, that help to capture the essence of her subjects and the spirit of any place.

Linda's commercial images have had the greatest impact for her clients in their ability to win awards both regionally and nationally. Her images also enable her clients to distinguish themselves among their peers in their sales and advertising efforts. Her fine art images include poetic landscapes, as well as sensitive closeups of flowers and vegetables that have been photographed in gardens locally and around the world.

Linda shares her passion for photography by lecturing and teaching classes and workshops for the Chicago Botanic Garden and other gardens and organizations. Her love of photography is matched only by her patience and encouragement to her students.
